Jasia has std cams, you have 264s. Makes a big difference.

Yeah I know Jono, which is why I think cams + 2871 would be a good combo, instead of needing a bigger turbo but without cams. However, why not go the big turbo AND cams =P

Not sure on price of injectors, would be around the $200 mark, and fuel rail around the $200 also. Don't want to promise anyone anything quite yet though, as I need a couple more things before it goes in for surgery

Yeh, just pointing out so people didn't get confused and think it was just the lag from the bigger turbo which made yours accl quicker.

haha nice to see ive started a decent thread (thats a first)

Im probably going to go standard cams with my turbo setup

i already have a standalone ECU so all i need is a fuel pump and injectors and a new turbo (although i have a BB CT26) for 200awkw so yeah its just hard picking out what to do..

What spec is your ct26? If its bb then I presume its much like b-mans and has a garret core fitted?

Whats the part number on it.

If its decent it may be enough for 200kw.

Internal gate 14psi.  I have a 6-Boost Exhaust manifold and will need to be replacing the stock radiator fan wilth a SPAL fan (turbo location with 6 boost manifold interfers with stock fan).  I have a PWR radiator, so I am also waiting on a quote/advise as to what SPAL fan would be the best fit for the PWR5562 Radiator.

My build is taking forever, hope it pans out well when its all finished.

It goes very very well, you can feel the increase in power with the same levels of boost.

Radiator fan clearance....had to use an angle grinder and shave a few mm off the fan shroud, and the metal its made of is deceptively strong stuff, but only a very minor shave and she all fits.

Big thank you to the boys at westside mufflers for all the hard work getting that turbo lined up just perfectly to avoid the fan but still allow the ST185 RC intercooler to bolt straight up,. perfect alignment.

The dump pipe they made was also great as it mated to the turbo, avoided the dipstick and A/C lines and also mounted upto the rest of my exhaust system (which they did in previous years)

Anyone know of a way of combining the ct26 turbine housing with a gt35r turbine
I've got a gt3576 core and compressor lying around and I want to use it

3576..thats an odd size.

Potentially you could get the rear housing machined to take the 35 core, but it would be restrictive as all hell.

Anyone got photos of where they have plumed their aftermarket turbo coolant feed and return lines.

I would really appreciate some input.

Get an oil cooled turbo, simple on the plumbing and using a turbo timer becomes legit effective not just for show

interesting topic,

If one wanted to go 350awhp on a 5S-GTE build would the head need mods or can stock cams do the job (obviously it needs a tune with a stand-alone ECU etc) but for that kind of power even after turbo upgrades etc does the head need to be modified?
