Hey so I recently just bought an aftermarket enclosed pod filter for my 92 Celica SX, along with piping as well.

I've come into an issue in when installing it, the MAT/MAF sensor is inside the top of the stock airbox and I am wondering on how to install that into my aftermarket filter and where it can sit? It's kind of like a cable that connects into the top of the airbox.

5SFEs are MAP-sensored, not MAF or AFM, what you're probably seeing is the intake air temp sensor (IAT).  Just drill a hole in your new intake pipe (if it doesn't already have one) and just plug it in with the rubber bung from the air filter housing.
