Was just tempted to plasti dip my hood with the plasti dip spray cans but after some research, it seems that it is so not recommended as it usually leave streaks etc. Anyone has any experience with that? Or experience? Cheers

I recommend getting the hood vinyl wrapped. Not too expensive and can have really great results!

plasti dip is crap 99% of the time unless you prep it properly and take care of it properly. :)

Yeah plasti dip sure don't look too promising. might end up trying to dip some stuff for the fun of it maybe. nothing too big. say an old phone case.

I dont see whats wrong with plasti diping a car.

dont use just paint cans. buy a car kit and prep car before hand and use an electric spray gun to keep flow even.

9-15 layers is ideal for a full car spray.

this took a weekend to do in my garage. i roped rev_head in to do it for me. have a look in my members thread fiynix

Nice fiynix.yeah tried out rattle cans on my phone case and it's definitely ain't as easy as it looks. Might give plastidip a miss I reckon and do some other mods. Maybe like lowering the car.
